Job Title:                     Regional Sales Manager (Consumer)

Reporting to:             National Sales Manager (Consumer)



The Purpose of the Role:


Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Regional Sales Manager role will involve the delivery of targets through the coaching and development of individual team members.


Key Responsibilities:


The key responsibilities of the role can be indentified under three distinct areas: people, performance and process




  • Achieve agreed objectives across all key performance indicators
  • Performance reporting within the appropriate timelines.
    • Take responsibility for performance management of members of the team




  • Plan, organise, review and control field sales activities and operations in the residential sector to ensure that revenues are in line with divisional objectives.
  • Maintain communications within the team to ensure field opportunities are recognised and grasped
  • Recruit suitable sales staff to ensure maintenance of headcount in order to achieve target
  • Manage, lead, motivate, train and develop the Residential Sales Team
  • Maximise field accompaniment, support and training opportunities
  • Carry out one-to-one performance appraisals on a monthly basis with each individual team member
  • Manage all campaigns at field level to maximise sales penetration
  • Establish and control field standards
  • Ensure sales management are informed and updated regarding all key activities
  • To generate new ideas and ways of working
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager











  • Knowledge of managing a high performing Field Sales team.
  • Planning and Organisation Skills to successfully manage a national sales team
  • Administration focus to ensure high levels of quality and attention to detail
  • Must have experience in setting and achieving targets
  • Negotiation & Selling Experience to lead team by example
  • Motivational Skills to maintain high performing sales environment

  • Full clean driving licence
  • Sales qualification (desirable but not essential)
  • Third level qualification (desirable but not essential)
