  • Overview

    Key Objective

    • To ensure all sales orders are processed accurately and within SLA
    • Achieve personal and team objectives e.g. Sales Conversion target
    • Effective objection handling during customer interactions in order to increase net sales


    Key Tasks:

    • Processing of sales orders accurately and within SLA (24 hours)
    • Maintain high level of quality when processing orders to ensure data is captured without error and ensure the correct channel is selected at point of sale
    • Taking end to end ownership of sales orders in order to increase net sales
    • Multitask taking both inbound and outbound sales order calls
    • Deliver excellent customer experience
    • Adherence to the customer contact strategy for order exceptions and manual processes
    • Effective management of problematic sales calls to ensure no sales are lost, while ensuring customers’ needs are met
    • Escalating any barriers to closing sales in a timely manner
    • Maximise sales opportunities during customer interactions
    • Implementation of registered manual controls – to include reporting, outbound calls to customers & correction of customer accounts
    • Support manual processes for ad hoc tactical Sales campaigns, including the management of internal & external mailboxes



    Knowledge & Experience/ Qualifications

    • Requires minimum 2 years relevant experience
    • Experience in the Telecoms industry desirable
    • Sales operations experience in a bundled environment is essential
    • Proven ability to achieve sales targets
    • Flexibility regarding working hours a must

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written & Powerpoint)

    • Respond well to change & new tasks, and maintain flexibility while keeping a focus on objectives
    • Broad knowledge of IT systems
    • Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines
    • Superb attention to detail is a pre-requisite
    • Understanding the value customers experience represents in achieving objectives
    • Experience and comfortable using excel to compile reports and interpret data
